Launch Simulations
Acceleration
The experiment will experience large accelerations during launch. It is necessary to simulate this acceleration to know the experiment will survive this stage. When this analysis was carried out, the model survived.
Vibration
The experiment will also experience a vibration environment during launch. These take the form of random and sinusoidal vibrations. When this analysis was carried out, the model survived. This was done for both Acceptence and Qualification levels.
Thermal Environment
Peak skin temperature during launch is 110°C. Due to the higher thermal conditions during re-entry (max temperature of 200°C), it is expected that if the model survives the re-entry thermal analysis, it will survive the thermal environment of launch.
